School Council

Lanier High School currently has openings for parent representatives to serve on the Local School Council.  The role of the school council is to serve as an advisory body to the principal on issues such as curriculum, school goals and priorities, budget, and preparation or distribution of data to the community.

The council is comprised of the school principal, parent representatives, teacher representatives and business representatives.  The term of service is for two years.

Elections will take place on August 31, 2010 at our PTSA Curriculum night.  If you cannot attend the meeting you may pick up a ballot in the main office and cast your vote from 7 a.m. –

3 p.m. on August 26, 2010 – August 31, 2010.  All interested parties must submit the application (see below) to the main office by August 20, 2010.  If you know of someone who might be a good candidate, please have him or her fill out this form and return by the above date.  You may also nominate yourself to serve on this council.
